Seminar Sunday Chesterfield 22nd July 2018

Myself and my student Chris had the pleasure of attending a Seminar at Unit 1 in Chesterfield with Iain Abernethy. The seminar looked at crme statistics and studies to indentify the most common self defence scenarios and how the hiean katas address these scenarios. The hiean kata were created to be a complete physical self defence system. The seminar showed how, when correctlyapproached , the hiean katas remain relevant in todays world. The seminar touched on weapons defence and dealing with group situations. 

It was a great pleasure to be part of this seminar and thanking to the seminars host Sensei Dave Cartawick and everyone at Unit 1.
